The Bible teaches that marriage is an institution created by God for the purpose of meeting one of man’s most basic needs; that being companionship.  It is a relationship designed to bring deep personal satisfaction and fulfillment to each marriage partner. Coupled with this purpose for marriage, God has also given us a very detailed plan for fulfilling it in His Word.  Therefore, it is our desire at Calvary Chapel to provide a pre-marital program that will prepare each couple with a strong, biblical foundation for their marriage relationship.  This program will require time and dedication on your part, yet we believe that the life-long commitment you are about to make is one that merits such effort.

We require a couple to complete the program prior to setting a wedding date. This assures that there is sufficient time to complete the program (approx. 4 months) and assess the readiness of the couple.  If there are significant issues, we may ask that you wait and work through these prior to getting married.  To complete this program, each couple will be assigned a mentoring couple that will work with you through the materials, as well as consults with one of the staff pastors. To obtain information about our program, either contact the church office and ask for the Pre-Marital Packet or download from this site. Once this information is reviewed and the forms are completed, they can be turned into the church office for processing and your initial consultation will be scheduled.
