Summer is here! Technically it's spring for another month but the last day of school for kids throughout the greater Austin area is only a week away. There's a lot to love about summertime. Longer days. Fewer responsibilities. Life just seems a little simpler for the next couple months and I think that's a good thing. In fact, it might be a good thing if we simplified spiritually, too. That's our weekend theme as we prepare for the last Sunday of the school year. Join us for the perfect segue to a spiritually significant summer as we present Calvary Austin Unplugged.

Sunday we wrap up our message series entitled Building Momentum. Over the last several weeks, we've focused on becoming momentum builders - MBs for short - in the most important parts of our lives. In part six, "Retrovision," we look back at everything we've learned and discover what it takes to see a God-given dream through to completion. It's also Celebration Sunday which means that we're going to share with the church exactly where we are in regards to the building project. And it's the first opportunity for those who can, who feel led to and who want to participate financially to bring a gift. You may place your gift in a Building Momentum envelope and drop it Sunday in either of the Collection Containers in the back of the auditorium.

Sunday we continue our message series entitled Building Momentum. Last week we learned from the Old Testament how God uses great leaders and great teams to create spiritual synergy. This week we learn about dealing with criticism and opposition as we pursue God's vision for our lives. If you haven't already completed an anonymous Communication Card to express your support for the building project and wish to do so, you may leave one Sunday in either of the Collection Containers in the back of the auditorium.
