Want to study the happiest book in the Bible? We start a new message-series Sunday - Jailhouse Rock - in the book of Philippians. What makes Philippians "the happiest book in the Bible"? You find happy words like glad, joy, and rejoice some 18 times! Why Jailhouse Rock? When Paul wrote it, he was under house arrest in Rome. What Paul discovered was that even in a jailhouse, God rocks and He makes our lives rock. We're all in a jailhouse of one kind or another. Want to turn house arrest into a house party? Join us this weekend as we kick off this life-changing message-series.

Are you experiencing Christmas cheer or Christmas fear? In the Bible, we meet lots of people who were afraid of Christmas. An elderly priest. A teenage girl. A young man. A king in his big-city palace. Shepherds in their small-town pastures. They were are all afraid of Christmas!

Popular movies like Christmas Vacation remind us of all the things that can go wrong at Christmas. But our fears go much deeper than that. Last week, we began a message-series entitled Christmas Vacation. We?re looking at some of the great road-trips of the Bible connected with the Christmas story and seeing how God changed people?s fear into cheer. Join us this weekend for Christmas Vacation ? Pt. 2 as we talk about Joseph and Mary?s trip to Bethlehem as well as that of the shepherds in the fields.

On November 4, 1993, we began a journey together through the entire Bible. Book by book. Chapter by chapter. Verse by verse. Eleven years later we have completed the journey! Wednesday, December 15, at our last mid-week service of the year, we will overview Revelation 21-22. Afterward, there will be a reception at Coffee Creator to celebrate what God has done in our lives as we?ve studied the Bible cover-to-cover. Hope to see you there!
