Crown Financial Small Group - This Fall
We will be offering a special small group that is focused on what Gods Word says about finances (debt, giving, budgeting, saving, etc.). Signups begin next week and we ask everyone who is interested to attend a short orientation class right after services before registering. Cost is $50-$60. It?s a 10 week class, running September through November 2008.

Step Up
Step up and volunteer to serve at Calvary Austin. The third step toward making Calvary Austin your church is to volunteer to serve. Service opportunities in our church and community make it possible for us to be part of what God is doing in our world. Classes are being held this weekend after each service, don't miss it!

Job Opportunities
Calvary Austin is looking to hire a part time employee, able to work 15 hours per week. We will hire for one of two openings listed below. We are looking for either a Childrens Ministry Assistant Director or a Volunteer Manager. If you are interested in either of these positions, please contact the church office at 719-4667 or via email to info@calvaryaustin.org to provide your qualifications.

Childrens Ministry Assistant Director
The Childrens Ministry Director Assistant is a right arm to the Childrens Ministry Director. As such, he or she will assist in assigned areas of General Oversight, Volunteer Staffing and Supervision, Care and Ministry to Children and Families. The Directors Assistant should be able to backfill the Director as needed. First and foremost, this person must see this as ministry to kids and families, and be spiritually mature. In addition, they must be able to plan, manage, communicate, and provide ?hands-on? leadership. Some experience necessary.

Volunteer Manager
The Volunteer Manager is responsible for programs and processes related to attracting, staffing and training volunteers and volunteer leaders. We believe that serving is a key step in our maturing process, and want to provide a meaningful opportunity for everyone to serve at Calvary. This person needs to be organized, friendly, visionary, and administrative. Position includes working with staff, volunteer leaders, and volunteers, and Internet computer database tools. Will train on specifics.

Mens Bowling Tournament
