WELCOME TO W.O.W.! KIDS AT CALVARY

W.O.W.! Kids is one of the most exciting places to be on the weekend! We love kids and they love us! Our aim is to get God's eternal message into the hearts of kids in ways that are geared toward age-appropriate learning, life changing and very fun. We want your kids to have an over-the-top fantastic church experience. We also place a BIG emphasis on safety in the classroom with screened volunteers and strict policies, to assure your kids are in good hands.

W.O.W.! KIDS MISSION

"W.O.W." = Walking on Water! You know the cool story of Jesus and His disciple Peter? Peter wanted to walk to Jesus in the midst of a storm, while on top of water. This took amazing faith. Jesus permitted and as long as Peter kept His eyes on Jesus, he did the impossible. He walked on water. This is what our team of volunteers work hard at, investing in our kids so they will have faith in Jesus to make unusually courageous choices for Him in the world they are growing up in. We partner with parents to train up our kids! Check out our mission statement in the acronym-"KIDS".

Our Programs

NURSERY (0-2y.o.)
Right from the beginning babies are learning about God's great love for them through music, visuals, play and puppets. It is never too early to begin building a great spiritual foundation into our kid's lives! We have a clean, safe environment with loving volunteers.

PRESCHOOL (3y.o. - Kinder)
"Station Sensation" is the best way to describe our Preschool environment. Imagine a variety of 3-4 learning centers for your child to learn the ins and outs of a Bible lesson! We have a craft, some fun floor activities and drama ready for each lesson. The kids enjoy worship and Bible time and are learning a new memory verse every six weeks! Older sibling in grade school are learning the same Bible message each week as the preschool kids, too. What a great way to assist with family devotions in the Bible!

ELEMENTARY (1st-5th)
These school aged kids have life good at WOW! Kids. They get to come to church and have an activity awaiting them 15 minutes before each service! They are gearing up for the next element, which is a drama about the Bible story, with worship interaction included. Right after the drama we have smaller groups of kids hang out with a leader to discuss and reinforce the lesson. This includes prayer and memory verse work, too. Every six weeks a new verse is introduced to the "WOW! Word Nerds"! We learn the verse and get a special cap and pin. We are gonna celebrate in September with a big party and prizes for their great achievements! We gather at the end of class for some final worship and review.

PARENT CONNECTION
Grab a super compelling family devotion sheet at the end of each class to use during the week. It reinforces what they learned at church and makes a big impact! Ask us about our exciting FAMILY CD/ROM that the kids can use on their computers to play games and learn the worship songs written especially for our Bible lessons! They are second to none with fine graphics and creative games.
