LIFE GROUPS are small groups of 10 -15 people who meet together regularly for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. We created Life Groups in order to connect people to one another and to the life of Calvary Austin. Application-based Life Groups help people apply the message they heard at a weekend worship gathering. Study-based Life Groups help people grow in their knowledge of the Bible or of a particular topic.
One of our core values is "functional community." We believe it is important for everyone to 'step out' and find a place to connect and grow. That is why Calvary Austin offers Life Groups that meet in homes across the Austin metro. New Groups will start with every season.
As our leaders gathered to discuss what things we have found to be most "Life Changing" in our own Christian experience, small groups was a universal experience we all could identify. Therefore, we encourage everyone that attends Calvary to participate in this way. We've identified a few simple STEPS that people can take to enhance their relationship with Jesus and others in the church. So STEP OUT and try a Life Group this week.
If you are searching for a place to connect at Calvary Austin, we've got a Life Group for you!
